M25 Junction 10 weekend Closure.
January full A3 weekend closure We’ll be closing the A3 in both directions for the weekend of 17-20 January 2025. The closure will start at 9pm on Friday 17 January and will go through until 6am on Monday 20 January. The closed stretch is south of the M25 and will be between the junction 10 interchange and Send B2215/A247. We’re closing so we can install Cockcrow Bridge which will be the UK’s first heathland bridge The diversion route to go southbound during the closure will be via Cobham, Chessington, Great Bookham and Effingham, rejoining the A3 at Send. Meanwhile to travel northbound the diversion route will be via East Clandon, Effingham, Fetcham and then onto the M25 towards Wisley. Please keep an eye on this page which we’ll update with further details and with any change of plan.
A 27 resurfacing – Road Closure & Diversions
A27 Patcham resurfacing – 6 January – 17 January 2025 We’ll be resurfacing the A27 Patcham Interchange including all the slip roads and the A23 southbound off slip road. To undertake these works safely we will need to close the A27 Patcham Interchange including all slip roads and the A23 southbound off slip to the A27 Patcham Interchange overnight between the hours 8pm to 6am Monday to Friday only. Overnight closure information: Monday 6 January for five nights Monday 13 January for four nights These works are weather dependent and will generate some noise for which we apologise in advance. M23 Traffic News This southern link from Brighton into London skips past the M25 and Gatwick Airport, making the M23 a busy route to travel down. The M23 only has three major junctions to navigate through before the road drops a lane and continues into the A23. As well as being the main entrance to one of the UK’s busiest airports it also directly connects onto the M25, which provides links to Heathrow Airport via the M4, onto Watford via the M1 and towards Sutton using the A217.
