M25 Closure Alert – Expect Delays! Drivers are being warned about major M25 closures this weekend, which could lead to severe delays. Junction 10 will be closed from 9pm on Friday, 7th March, until 6am on Monday, 10th March. Diversion routes are in place to help manage traffic.This closure is part of National Highways’ ongoing work to improve the junction, with this phase focusing on demolishing and removing old bridges. The project is expected to be completed later this year. Plan ahead! Anyone travelling to London or surrounding areas should allow extra time or consider alternative routes.Stay safe and drive carefully!

Three Brighton & Hove Albion stars have been ruled out of this weekend’s Premier League match with Nottingham Forest. Manager Fabian Hürzeler gave his team news update during a press conference with the media. They travel to the City Ground on Saturday, with kick-off at 12.30pm. The German has confirmed Solly March, Mats Wieffer and Pervis Estupinan will miss the Forest game due to injury. While young striker Evan Ferguson could make his long-awaited return to action. Hürzeler said: “I don’t think [March, Wieffer and Estupinan] are available. It doesn’t look good [for the weekend]. “[Evan Ferguson] trained for the first time yesterday, he’s in good shape and we are very happy that he’s back in our squad. Electric Forecourt London Gatwick has become the first international airport to open an Electric Forecourt with GRIDSERVE®, a dedicated electric vehicle (EV) charging station. The site has 30 high-power and low-power electric vehicle chargers available via contactless payment – ideal for passengers, staff, local residents and commuters – alongside high-speed Wi-Fi, a lounge area, Costa Coffee and Little Fresh convenience store. All charging bays are powered by 100% net zero energy, with the fastest chargers capable of adding up to 100 miles of range in 10 minutes. The Electric Forecourt® is located on the Ring Road South approach to London Gatwick’s South Terminal. The building is open every day from 4:30am to 10:00pm, with chargers available 24/7 year-round.

Upcoming disruption National Highways will be undertaking resurfacing works on the M23 Junction 9 Roundabout, Gatwick Spur Road, and Airport Way. The first part of the works will run in three phases from Tuesday, 7th January, to Thursday, 13th February, with future phases of work scheduled for late February into March, covering both North and South Terminal Roundabouts. Sections of the roads around London Gatwick will be closed overnight throughout this period, with signed diversions in place. Passengers traveling by road during this time can expect some congestion and delays, so please allow additional time for your journey.

January full A3 weekend closure   We’ll be closing the A3 in both directions for the weekend of 17-20 January 2025. The closure will start at 9pm on Friday 17 January and will go through until 6am on Monday 20 January. The closed stretch is south of the M25 and will be between the junction 10 interchange and Send B2215/A247. We’re closing so we can install Cockcrow Bridge which will be the UK’s first heathland bridge The diversion route to go southbound during the closure will be via Cobham, Chessington, Great Bookham and Effingham, rejoining the A3 at Send. Meanwhile to travel northbound the diversion route will be via East Clandon, Effingham, Fetcham and then onto the M25 towards Wisley. Please keep an eye on this page which we’ll update with further details and with any change of plan.
